Features and Benefits of the Wedge Wands (WedgeWands)

Anatomy of the Wand
The first thing doctors usually notice about Wedge Wands is their one-piece construction-a feature that clearly sets them apart from other products on the market.

No Instruments. No hassles. Using the Wedge Wand means using one less instrument. The benefit to the doctor is obvious: A greatly simplified application process.

Angle it for ease. The wand's neck is flexible, bending to (the precise) angle you need.

Put on the pressure. The wand withstands the force you exert on it during placement, yet when it's time to remove the wand from the wedge, only a simple twist is required for separation.
Anatomy of the Wedge
While the Wedge Wands' one-piece construction may have caught your eye, the unique wedge is where the plastic meets the papilla. The Wedge itself is packed full of features:

Easy does it. The wedge's curved underside leaves room for the papilla, causing less compression. The soft radius of the edge prevents trauma to the papilla as the wedge is inserted and removed. Plus the upturned tip keeps the wedge from piercing the papilla or rubber dam during placement. (Build into paragraph better)

A sure seal. Flexible plastic shaped into what we call Compound Contours provides the most anatomically shaped wedge body available. This means fewer interproximal flat spots or overhangs and, of course, a superior seal.

Longer is better. Our wedges are longer than average, which allows for a more gradual increase in width (and means that only three sizes are necessary in your inventory). The added length makes G-ring placement a breeze.

Stays put. The long length and gradual increase in width also stabilizes the wedge against back-out. Back-out is further prevented by the compressible material and textured wedge body

An easy out. When it's time to remove the wedge, the waffle-like indentations in the handle allow for easy gripping with standard dental instruments.
